Enable Mode 1 — Email OnlyWebsite + Extension use email only. No OTP.

Enable Mode 2 — Website OTP + Extension EmailWebsite verifies OTP; Extension signs in directly with the same email.

Enable Mode 3 — Central OTP + Shared SessionWebsite OTP creates the browser session and Extension connects automatically.

Security: Mode 1 and the Extension side of Mode 2 do not prove email ownership. Anyone who knows an email may be able to sign in as that account. Mode 3 is the recommended production mode. Publishing a different active mode revokes current Website-bridge and Extension sessions so the new mode takes effect cleanly.
